Ahhh I think it might be over....this endless string of rainy days, and not a moment to soon....I just know my toes were going to web together with just one more day of it. I dont mind the rain every now and then....but as many of you know I much prefer the warm sunshine...the sand, the salt smell in the air....the crashing of the waves....I LOVE the beach. So due to the fact that I am financially unable totreat myself to a real vacation....I took myself on a cyber vacation. lol
I have just returned (in my mind only) from the Caribbean....my most favorite place. I toured several island in the Greater Antilles region....amazing. People everywhere, out enjoying the weather...the shopping, thefood....the culture. I grab my big glasses and a hat....dressed in a flowing gauze skirt and tank top, I spent the day cruising the open air markets and cafes. Browsing and bargaining with the local wares peddlers. Stopping for lunch in a small seaside cafe. I enjoyed a fresh salad and a cold beer....lounging in the sun. I couldnt help but notice a very handsome man across the patio....I had seen him earlier in the market. He was beyond handsome....he was beautiful. I must have been lost in my thoughts because I had not noticed that he had left his seat and was now standing at my table...saying something....What was he say? Excuse me? He flashed a perfect smile and repeated what was obviously a question....but one I didnt understand...I think he was speaking Italian. Embarrassed, I blushed...and shook my head, I dont understand. He tried again....but to no avail. About that time the waiter buzzed by and they quickly chatted...the waiter shook his head and walked away. What an awkward moment now.....this scrumptious man standing in front of me....I could feel my desire stirring. At just that moment the waiter return with a pitcher of a fruit filled wine and two glasses. The stranger took the refreshments, glanced at me and waved towards the beach. Now I understood....I didnt hesitate as I accepted. I am not crazy!! lol I collected my things and tossed a few Pecos on the table...and quickly followed the stranger towards the beach.....excited to think where things might go......
Such as life....I have to go finish the wash, but believe me when I tell you it was a wonderful vacation, even if it was just in my mind. :)
Ok on a different note......thoughts on the Jen 6? Such a tragedy, such a hot issues.
